SIMPLY MYSTIC : AMSTERDAM, THE DUTCH LAND..

This is an unusual city in that it has all the advantages of a big city - culture, history, food, entertainment, good transport – with relatively few of the disadvantages: it is physically small, beautiful, relatively quiet, and largely thanks to the canals, has relatively little traffic. It has superb public transport facilities. There are many trams, and good facilities for cyclists, like special bike lanes, and traffic lights for cyclists. Here modern architecture has developed organically between facades of historical buildings. This is why it is so popular with lovers of architecture. People enjoy the architectural walks in the city. There are lots of eating places, cafeterias and cheese delicacies at your disposal. It has a wealth of galleries, whether you are looking for out-of-the-ordinary jewelry, a trendy designer suit, contemporary glass or ceramic objects, modern furniture or whether you are just looking for inspiration. EVERYONE'S IMPORTANT..

Wolves used to live in Yellowstone, which is in the northern U.S. Rocky Mountains. But many people thought wolves were pests that killed livestock and harmed crops. In 1926 the last wolf in Yellowstone was shot and killed. For the next 70 years Yellowstone did not have any wolves. Scientists decided to restore back wolves in the area in 1995. About 15 gray wolves were brought in from Canada.

With wolves, the predators have been introduced back in the setting. The wolves have been hunting and eating elk, a member of the deer family. The elk leftovers provide food for animals such as ravens, eagles, and bears. Wolves also scare elk from streams. With fewer elk near the water, plants that grow there, such as willows, can grow taller. "Benefits of this new plant growth include more habitat for birds and more plant food for beaver," Ripple explained. "The number of beaver in northern Yellowstone has increased dramatically since wolves were reintroduced." Wolves have such a big effect on Yellowstone because scientists believe wolves are a keystone species. Keystone species are species on which a large number of other plants and animals depend. According to scientists the reintroduction of wolves has affected more than 25 species in Yellowstone. (Source: National Geographic)

The wolves always hunt in a group and can run till 50 kms in search of their prey.In winters, they have to work hard to dig in the snow to search for food. The leader in the group is always respected. If he has a viewpoint, the rest follow. The females are also active in the hunting group and contribute actively. Average gestation period in females is two and a half months. Soon the younger ones get adapted to the group living. They start consuming meat within 2-3 weeks of birth.
