I need to blog !

Amidst my critical work deadlines, I chose to blog. Yes on a weekend!

Reason: Come back of the controversial left handed Indian ex captain! Saurav’s return may have elicited mixed reactions in the Indian camp, but for hundred’s of his humble fans, including me it is a great & of course a well deserved come back…

For the Calcutta prince, who is claimed to have got in to the team on the basis of quota system, this is the right opportunity to reach out to his critics. But what it may take is another Lords to satisfy his critics. When it comes to captaincy, the records speak for themselves. (http://www.howstat.com/cricket/Statistics/Players/PlayerOverview_ODI.asp?PlayerID=2059).His detractors cannot deny that he has the best record of any Indian skipper

But it’s a pity that the cricket lovers forget the tumultuous times when Ganguly took over the reigns and he galvanized the team into a fighting combative unit. There are people who will say that while Ganguly remains a wonderful man management person, strategy has never been his strong point. They say life always gives you a another chance. This one is for Saurav!

BUZY WITH HARD WORK

Hhm haven’t been active on blogging for a couple of months now! So what has kept me away? Actually I am very busy, trying to make friends with 10 rabbits, 9 ducks and 3 turquoise. I don’t like to use common nouns to address my friends, so I might also think of some good names for all my buddies. (Definitely before my next posting) All this is keeping me busy. Besides my eyes and heart have to wander through the lush green lawns of the environs and the typical rock settings of Hyderabad. And then I have a badminton game in the evening and I am trying hard to regain my lost skills in the game.

Caught up in all this hard work, if I get time I do some match making. No this is a different kind. Not with brides and grooms but with thirsty cities looking for some private investors who can contribute to the water supply solutions. That’s how my new job at Hyderabad looks like! Besides there are a lot of hang out zones in the cities and I don’t miss an opportunity to meet new people and catch up with old buddies over a Hyderabadi meal or a brunch. Weekends are always busy either roaming out to unexplored destinations or indulging in some form of regional art. Keep watching this space for my travel stories !
