Beautiful, but not eternal...

a wake up call...
being in front of the world’s most beautiful architectural piece (of all the world I have seen), I am ecstatic. If it were to speak, each carving would come up to life and emphasize the beauty of life.......sky reaching towers calling up as if they want to reiterate life is here... the blue sky adding the right backdrop... the chirping birds adding rhythm to the life..... making it talk and express itself... the green landscape behind, all swaying to the tunes... each stone in its perfection depicting the eternal beauty..... commitment.... the monument celebrating the human achievement.... the achievement of life..........
the life: right within it holding a grave that is the end.......that does not boast of achievement, beauty, perfection or anything but the eternal truth...
magnificent combination of beauty and the truth...

Hhm what am I doing working on this report.... I need to get going.....
Destination next: the Pyramids of Egypt....... let me check what are the airfares ????
Notes from my Diary..
4th April, Delhi

I travel often for work. What interests me is observing people, their activites, their style and the environs around me. I just observe, dont intend to judge, arrive at conclusions or form opinions, just observation....

But how does it help. I don't know, but may be subconciously it frames my opinions, views or ideas or nurtures my creative mind. To elaborate, this morning for the first time I flew Kingfisher airlines, the morning Delhi to Mumbai one. (had to get up pretty early in the mroning) I am a loyal Jet customer, but had to settle with Kingfisher this time. I thought it may be a good idea to just observe on what competition is doing to Indian Domestic Aviation.

And just guess what : Great Service !!! Now how do you judge an airline service. Definitely for a foodie like me through what they serve you !! Just joking. I have also been fascinated by the "always smiling" cabin crew of Airlines. I wonder how difficult it is to keep smiling at the hundred's of passengers every time with the same warmth and intensity ? May be they are trained to do so. (I am often short of smiles, particularly the welcoming one..., need to look for some training program)

Anyways then comes the entry route from check in counter to the flight. Faboulous Man !! Well organized and well planned.. the only thing they need to have it more fast.. or is it that flights are more affordable so more passengers coming in day by day... the Delhi Mumbai flight seems like a battalion, ready to take off as soon the plane lands. I am the lazy ones, trying to move out at the last, as if the plane were to carry me to my hotel as well !!

And about the Cabin crew, I am short of words. I often feel proud to observe the young women who serve the customers on flight. May be it comes naturally to them. Unfortunately there was no male crew member my flight this morning, I for a second though should inquire if they dont hire men !!It would definitely increase their sales.Imagine all those youngsters those who have gone through the tough competition of getting selected. I really feel elated. Infact I have a fascination for women pilots... Imagine the delicate, tender figure driving the tonnes Jet/Boeing....(how different does it feel to see this form of an Indian women.. I dont know if men admire this, I guess they do ..)

Then comes the wardrobe of the cabin crew. Perfect, the striking red coloured jackets, seem comfortable as well as inviting for the Kingfisher crew.Clear neat lines of their make up and make over helps give that perfect look. And then the entertainment service, the music and tv channels. And then comes Vijay Mallya on my small tv screen, personally inviting the passengers and giving his email id for suggestions !! Not to mention the last smile of the crew when you leave the aircraft . ( I try to console myslef that I may not get to see the same smiling faces out of this Boeing..)

Time to get back to work. I have a train to catch at three, that heads for Agra. Dont want to miss it in the Delhi Traffic. So heading towards the TAJ : the monument of love.. Just hold it, its a business trip.

Getting back to some sensible work.... lets see what's waiting for me in Agra
